  • LumaClock version, shown in Settings > About;
  • the selected clock style and color scheme, if applicable;
  • whether the problem occurs in portrait, landscape, or both;
  • the steps that led to the issue;
  • any error message; and
  • a screenshot or screen recording, if available.

Frequently asked questions

The buttons disappeared. How do I bring them back?

Tap an empty area of the clock screen. LumaClock hides its controls to keep the clock face clear; tapping the screen toggles them back on.

Why is there no color-scheme button for this style?

Only selected styles provide alternate color schemes. When a style supports them, the paintbrush button appears in the lower-right controls. Styles without that button have a fixed appearance.

Why does the display not stay on?

Open Settings > System and make sure Keep Screen On is enabled. Low Power Mode, device management policies, or the app no longer being active can still affect display behavior.

How do I show seconds, the date, or battery level?

Open Settings > Display. Set Time Display to the hours-minutes-seconds option, then enable Show Date or Show Battery as needed.

Why is the clock in the wrong orientation?

Use the orientation button in the lower-right corner to switch between portrait and landscape. If the interface does not update, close and reopen LumaClock, then try the button again.

The ticking sound is not playing.

Tap the speaker button in the upper-left corner to enable it, then check that the device is not muted and that its media volume is audible.

Will uninstalling LumaClock remove my preferences?

Yes. Style selection, color choices, and other LumaClock preferences are stored locally on the device and are generally removed when the app is deleted. Reinstalling the app may start with the default settings.
